Pay & work conditions (USA) — what to expect
- All pay ranges on this page are gross (brutto) and shown per hour, before taxes/deductions.
- Minimum wage baseline: offers must meet the higher of federal, state, or local minimum wage (many states increased rates on January 1, 2026).
- Overtime: where applicable under U.S. law, overtime is commonly 1.5× after 40 hours/week for non-exempt roles. Rules vary by role and exemption status.
- Seasonal routes: some roles may align with H-2A (agriculture) or H-2B (seasonal non-agriculture). Longer-term roles may align with EB-3. This depends on the hiring employer and official procedures.
- No guarantees: MaViAl does not guarantee visas or job offers. We coordinate screening and employer communication.
