Recruitment comes first A genuine work-visa route starts with a real vacancy and selection by the employer.
Direct hiring is possible SLBFE allows direct foreign-employer hiring of a Sri Lankan worker other than a female domestic worker, subject to the required procedure.
D visa: New Delhi jurisdiction Register through e-Konsulat and, after appointment allocation, submit personally at the selected Poland Visa Application Centre.

Step-by-step: how a Sri Lankan candidate gets a Poland work visa

Recruitment, Polish work authorisation, Sri Lankan overseas-employment registration and the national D visa are separate legal stages.

Stage 1 · Recruitment

1. Create your CV and apply for a real job

Create your CVComplete the profile at openingshub.com/cv/ with exact work dates, skills, education and current contact details.
Candidate reviewMaViAl checks the profile against current vacancies and the actual requirements of the position.
Employment basisIf selected, the employer confirms the position, workplace, remuneration and intended employment period.
Stage 2 · Poland

2. MaViAl applies for the Polish work permit

For employment by a Polish entity, the employer submits the work-permit application and attachments electronically through praca.gov.pl to the competent Voivode.

The former term “Type A work permit” remains a familiar search phrase, but the current procedure uses updated electronic work-permit forms. The work permit is employer-side authorisation; it is not a visa.

Who files it? MaViAl as the Polish employer. The candidate supplies passport and professional evidence needed for the employer-side case.

Stage 3 · Sri Lanka

3. Complete the Sri Lankan overseas-employment requirements

SLBFE states that a Sri Lankan worker other than a female domestic worker can be directly hired by a foreign employer without using a recruitment agency.

Direct-hire employer documents: individual employment contract and employer profile.
Identity documents: employer identification document and candidate passport copy.
Visa evidence: the required worker visa copy is included when the direct-hire documentation reaches that stage.
SLBFE registration: every Sri Lankan leaving for foreign employment must register before departure.
Worker documents: prepare the passport, employment/service agreement, visa or entry permission and qualification/experience evidence required for registration.
Stage 4 · e-Konsulat

5. Complete the additional VFS form

After the appointment is allocated, complete the additional online VFS visa application form required for employment-purpose applicants.

Use exactly the same identity, passport and employment information as in e-Konsulat and your supporting documents.

Stage 6 · Personal submission

6. Submit at the selected Poland VAC

Sri Lanka is within the New Delhi consular jurisdiction for this work-visa route. The application is submitted personally at the Poland Visa Application Centre selected during the official process.
