Work conditions — Polish employer (updated for 2026)

Final conditions are always confirmed in writing for a specific project (location, schedule, contract model, pay components, allowances). Below is the practical baseline you can expect from a compliant Polish employer on construction projects.

Contract & payroll

  • Contract terms provided before start (role scope, start date, site rules).
  • Payroll settled in PLN (gross). Pay details provided in writing.
  • Bank transfer payments; payslip/settlement information provided per employer process.
  • Statutory minimum pay thresholds must be respected (see snapshot above).

Onboarding & safety

  • Mandatory safety induction (BHP) before starting on site.
  • Medical clearance for work (role-dependent).
  • PPE rules enforced (helmet, boots, gloves, high-vis, eye protection as required).
  • Site access rules: reporting, hazard zones, lifting operations.

Practical site life

  • Work is outdoors/partly outdoors: weather-readiness is required.
  • Accommodation/transport may be offered depending on project (confirmed individually).
  • Tools: some sites provide tools; some require basic hand tools (confirmed before start).
  • Performance expectations: correctness first, then stable pace and reliability.

This role typically opens when reinforced concrete schedules intensify and sites need reliable steel-fixing crews to protect pour deadlines.

Recruitment process (document-first, predictable)

  1. CV first: create/upload your CV in English (required).
  2. Screening: we validate rebar experience, site readiness and availability.
  3. Written project brief: location, start date, schedule, contract model, and pay structure.
  4. Selection step: short interview and/or practical verification (site-dependent).
  5. Onboarding: medical/safety induction and site entry as per employer procedures.

Work authorization support depends on the employer, role and candidate status. We confirm possibilities individually and in writing. For Type A details use: Work Permit (Zezwolenie).
