Pay model (gross / brutto) + statutory floor (Poland, 2026)

Specific pay depends on the site, forklift type (reach/counterbalance), shift pattern and required experience. You receive the exact terms in writing after CV screening.

Minimum monthly wage (gross)
PLN 4,806
Statutory floor in Poland from 01 Jan 2026.
Minimum hourly rate (gross)
PLN 31.40
Applies to minimum hourly rate in 2026.
Key principle
No below-minimum offers
We do not proceed with terms that undercut statutory minima.

Extras may apply depending on the contract and site (e.g., night work, overtime rules, site allowances). All components are clarified before onboarding.

What you will do (day-to-day)

  • Operate forklifts safely: reach truck or counterbalance depending on the warehouse layout.
  • Handle inbound/outbound flow: unload, scan, move to buffer, put-away to racking; stage for shipping.
  • Follow traffic lanes, pedestrian zones and dock rules (no shortcuts, no “creative” maneuvers).
  • Complete pre-shift checks and report faults immediately (do not operate damaged equipment).
  • Coordinate with team leaders and pick/pack teams to keep flow stable and predictable.

Requirements (detailed, practical, and strict)

1) Licences & documents

  • UDT licence is strongly preferred; where allowed, a documented pathway may be considered case-by-case.
  • Government ID / passport and the ability to complete onboarding documentation.
  • If you have additional permissions (driving categories, vocational certificates), list them in your CV.

2) Technical competence

  • Real experience on warehouse fleets (reach truck and/or counterbalance).
  • Comfortable with scanning, pallet labeling, racking locations and dock operations.
  • Ability to perform routine checks and recognize “stop work” issues (brakes, mast, leaks, forks, tyres).

3) Safety & behavior (non-negotiable)

  • Lane discipline, speed control, horn use where required, and pedestrian priority.
  • No bypassing barriers, rules, or site instructions.
  • Clear communication on mixed teams; English must be sufficient for safety briefings.

Short candidate portrait (who fits best)

  • You already hold UDT or can complete a documented UDT pathway quickly (if the project allows it).
  • You drive smoothly and predictably; you prioritize safety over speed.
  • You understand warehouse traffic logic: docks, aisles, turning zones, pedestrian crossings.
  • You can work shifts, stay punctual, and keep consistent performance across long projects.
  • You communicate clearly in English for briefings, confirmations and incident reporting.

Work conditions with a Polish employer (what to expect)

Conditions vary by site, but Polish onboarding typically follows a predictable structure and documentation. Below is the baseline you should expect in professional warehouse environments.

Onboarding steps

  1. Identity + document verification and confirmation of your availability and location.
  2. Safety induction (OHS/BHP) and site procedures: traffic lanes, PPE rules, incident reporting.
  3. Role briefing: fleet type, zones, scanning/process rules, performance expectations.
  4. Start of work following employer scheduling and warehouse supervisor instructions.

Operational standards

  • PPE and safety rules are mandatory. Non-compliance ends cooperation.
  • Pre-shift equipment checks and immediate fault reporting are required.
  • Work is organized by zones and procedures (inbound/outbound/buffer/racking).
  • Pay and contract conditions are provided in writing before onboarding.

What to highlight in your CV (to pass screening faster)

  • Licence: UDT number/validity (if applicable), and forklift types you can operate.
  • Experience: last 2–3 roles, warehouse profile, shift system, and measurable scope (volume, zones, dock work).
  • Equipment: reach truck vs counterbalance, racking heights, scanning systems (if used).
  • Availability: earliest start date, preferred location, shift flexibility.
  • Safety: incident-free record, checks discipline, and any relevant training.

Recruitment process (document-first, clear, and fast)

  1. CV first: create/upload your CV (English).
  2. Screening: experience, licences, availability, location fit.
  3. Written briefing: you receive role conditions in writing (site, schedule, contract, start).
  4. Selection step: short interview / skills check / site test (role-dependent).
  5. Onboarding: safety induction and start of work as per employer procedures.

Work authorization support depends on the employer, role and candidate status. Possibilities are confirmed individually and in writing.

Job story (how this role runs on real sites)

Many warehouses run a simple rule: predictable motion beats fast motion. Your first responsibility is not speed — it is controlled handling and compliance with traffic zones.

  • Confirm lanes and pedestrian zones before the first load.
  • Keep forks low while driving and stabilize loads before turning.
  • When unsure, stop and confirm — safety stops are normal.
