Industrial Cleaner (Production Site) in the Netherlands

Industrial cleaning is not “regular housekeeping”. You work around production schedules, hygiene zones and safety rules. Assignments can be in a factory, warehouse, logistics hub, technical facility or (in some projects) food-related areas where cleaning standards are stricter. Openings are project-based and may change by site.

CV is mandatory: candidates without a CV are not considered.

Hiring story (why this role exists)

Many production sites run tight changeovers: one team finishes, the next team starts, and the site must be safe and compliant in between. Industrial cleaners support those transitions by removing residues, keeping floors and work zones controlled, and following the site’s hygiene and safety protocol.

Pay (gross) & shift patterns

Gross (brutto) hourly rate: €14.75–€17.50 (indicative). Final rate depends on the project location, site standards, shift pattern (day/evening/night), and your experience.

  • Shift work: common on production sites; exact schedule depends on the facility.
  • Overtime / weekend: premiums may apply where the contract or site agreement provides them.
  • Holiday allowance: typically accrues on top of gross wages (paid out according to payroll rules).

  • can work independently but communicate issues immediately.

This role is not for you if you…

  • avoid PPE or do not want to follow site safety rules.
  • need a fixed schedule every week with no shift variation.
  • dislike industrial smells/noise or fast-moving operations.
  • expect “light cleaning only” and no physical work.

  • Identity documents: valid passport; additional IDs where applicable.
  • CV: English preferred; add any certificates or references if you have them.
  • Screening: some sites require background checks or site onboarding steps.
  • Work eligibility: depends on your situation (e.g., existing EU residence/work rights vs employer-supported route).
