Hiring story: what projects look like

This role usually sits at the “finish + performance” layer of a build: the opening must be square, the unit must be level, and the seal must be clean—otherwise the whole envelope suffers.

Most teams work in small install crews. A typical day may include setting windows or doors, shimming and fastening, applying membrane/flashing, and finishing with foam/caulking. You are expected to keep the site tidy, protect finished surfaces, and communicate clearly with the lead installer.

Practical, hands-on trade · quality matters

Candidate profile

You are a good fit if you…

  • can set frames square/level/plumb and keep your tolerances consistent
  • understand sealing basics (flashing, foam, caulk) and why continuity matters
  • work safely on ladders and around sharp/heavy materials
  • protect finished surfaces and keep a clean install area
  • communicate clearly with the lead installer and follow instructions
  • show up reliably and handle a steady pace without cutting corners

This role is not for you if you…

  • ignore safety rules or take risks with ladders, lifting, or tools
  • rush installs and “fix later” instead of doing it right the first time
  • struggle with basic measuring, alignment, and careful finishing
  • prefer fully desk-based work or minimal physical activity

How to apply (CV required)

  3. Include any certificates and availability (start date, shifts, travel readiness)
  4. Submit — we contact shortlisted candidates

Please keep your CV specific: project types (retrofit/new build), materials (vinyl/aluminum), and tasks you performed.
