- Custom components: connections, details and parts generated from your rules and standard dimensions.
- Plugins and macros: batch changes, numbering, attribute filling, model clean-up.
- Applications: tools with their own window that read and change the model through the Open API.
- Reports and exports: lists and files for fabrication, assembly and purchasing in the format your workshop uses.
- Manufacturer content: components of your products, for example anchors, brackets or connectors, ready to insert.
Technology
Extensions are developed in C# on .NET with the Tekla Open API and tested in the Tekla Structures versions you use. Components can be distributed as packages for Tekla Warehouse or installed internally. Documentation explains settings and limitations to your users.
How we start
Describe the rule or task you want to automate, the Tekla version and attach a sample model and drawings showing the expected result. You can send us a specification with attachments. After a review we propose the scope and price; development begins after your approval.
Frequently asked questions
Do you do steel detailing or produce shop drawings?
No. We develop software for Tekla. Detailing and drawings are produced by your team or your detailer using the tools we build.
Can you build a component for our product range?
Yes. A custom component can insert your products with the right dimensions and attributes, so engineers using Tekla can work with them directly.
Will the extension work after a Tekla update?
Updates for new Tekla versions can be part of a maintenance agreement. We test on the versions listed in the scope.
