What families we develop
| Group | Examples |
|---|---|
| Manufacturer products | Windows, doors, façade elements, fixtures, HVAC and electrical equipment, fasteners and fittings, from data sheets and drawings |
| Office standard | Typical doors and windows, furniture, annotation, tags and title blocks that follow your graphic standard |
| Detail and profile families | Detail components and profiles for sweeps, railings and mullions |
How we keep families clean
- Native Revit geometry with sensible levels of detail and visibility settings.
- Constraints and formulas tested by flexing every parameter.
- Parameter naming from your shared parameter file or a clear proposal.
- Material and classification parameters ready for schedules and IFC.
- Small file size so projects stay fast.
Families in your users' language
For international markets a family can carry descriptions, type names and parameter values in the language of each market, or we prepare separate language editions of the library. Units and naming follow the target country.
What to send
Data sheets, dimensional drawings or CAD files of the products, a list of sizes and variants, your Revit version and naming rules. You can send us a specification with the files attached. For a full product range see BIM content libraries.
Frequently asked questions
Can you convert our DWG blocks into Revit families?
Yes, the drawings serve as a geometry reference. We rebuild the elements natively in Revit so that the families stay parametric and light.
Which Revit version will the families be in?
The oldest version you need to support, so the families also open in newer versions.
Do you model whole buildings as well?
No. We develop families and libraries; project models are created by your team or your clients.
Send us your specification
We review your specification and confirm scope and price before development starts.

Scope, deadline and price are agreed in writing after we review the specification. MaViAl develops software and BIM content; it does not provide architectural or engineering design, modelling of projects or cost estimates as a service.
